Watcher07
Which is better, to have a random port number or a static one ?
jewelisheaven
Port is irrelevant unless you're choosing a port your IP happens to shape by-default. As long as you keep your forwarding rule current, you can choose to change your port at-will.
Watcher07
I read that BitTorrent uses port range 6881-6889, but my uTorrent client is using different port, is that what is causing my NAt problem ?
DreadWingKnight
If you tried to forward 6881-6889 and not the port set in uTorrent's preferences, yes.
Watcher07
I already tried forwarding the port set in uTorrent and I'm still getting the NAt problem.
Switeck
You may have a mini-router and/or firewall hidden in your modem that needs to be configured or disabled. You may have software firewall/s on your computer that's still blocking incoming traffic on uTorrent's listening port.
