Switeck Posted June 28, 2008 Report Share Posted June 28, 2008 You seem to be on ComCast Cable ISP in Maryland?Then if Verizon FIOS is in your area, you might be getting better speeds from ComCast there than I do here...as ComCast is trying to aggressive compete with Verizon.But either way, you must run speed tests.Also, because ComCast disrupts BitTorrent traffic AND because ComCast uses temporary bursts of speed called "SpeedBoost"...the results you get from regular speed tests may be considerably higher than uTorrent can upload and download sustained.It is your sustainable upload speed max that is the HIGHEST value you can use to base uTorrent's settings off of.
