Here's the problem: I got a new laptop and it has Vista and I don't know Vista very well yet. i can dl & ul no problem (speed is same as pc) but my connection is showing red... I used same ports as pc, since I don't use both at the same time. Sorry if this was confusing, I'm just so frustrated and i really don't want to screw with it too much on my own.Thanks for any help. jewelisheaven Posted June 30, 2008 Report Share Posted June 30, 2008 If you don't use both at the same time, be sure they're both setup on the same IP address... that would be an obvious thing to check.You can check it from start->run->cmd /k ipconfig /all on both, and see if that's the case.
