I watched a youtube video on how to configure utorent to go faster and now, I have a download speed of 300k/s. However, my computer is on a shared network. If I turn on utorent, then other people experience extremely slow internet speeds. I am forced to turn off utorent so other people can work on the internet. I can only download on from 10 to 12 on sunday because everybody is at church. Is there anyway that i can bittorent without throttling other people's speed. like some settings or some tool? jewelisheaven Posted July 2, 2008 Report Share Posted July 2, 2008 You can use the scheduler to ONLY run uT at certain times of the day. You can set a download limit... or run fewer torrents. Usually with an upload too high it messes with others' browsing experiences. If you set your upload lower it shouldn't affect others as much while you're downloading...Check out the Manual and look up the scheduler pane.
