DreadWingKnight
Do you have zonealarm installed?
Firon
Zone Alarm prevents utorrent from ever shutting down (among other weird issues, like system crashes). Unfortunately, the only fix is to switch to a less-broken firewall.
PhoenixPhatale
I have vista, zone alarm and the same problem. However, my XP install (desktop) never had any problems between the two of them. Any thoughts on that?To be clear, the program becomes utterly untouchable which doesn't seem to be in line with Zone Alarm's behavior with anything else I've seen. I'll see if simply killing Zone Alarm will return control over the application next time I have the bug and report back on this. Until then, anyone else have thoughts on the subject? Firon
ZA is a bit buggier on Vista, though it will work properly for people sometimes. I don't think killing Zone Alarm will work, as it stays hooked in even if the TrueVector service isn't running.
