utorrent 1.8 rc1 question

in this version i have notice that i cant update the tracker to inform for tha amount of upload that i have made why?is any kind of adjustment that i have to make because the option update tracker from the pull down menu is off thanks

Read the changelog:

- Change: allow a manual reannounce every max(60 seconds, min_interval) where min_interval is from the tracker

It's not good to hammer the trackers with manual updates ...

The restriction is put into place to prevent hammering of trackers. The default limit is once per minute, but the tracker can specify a larger limit using min interval.

so its ok to believe that the tracker updates automatically even if i don't make it manual?or i must update every5 minutes or so and why in the tracker peer exchange status says not allowed even if i have change this option from the options menu to allowed?

The tracker always updates by itself at a fixed interval. You never -need- to do manual updates.

And private torrents prevent DHT and PEX from being used on that torrent.
