tralala7777
I've been running uTorrent for years now and never had a single problem before today. Now I keep getting an error message saying that "a connection could not be established because the target machine actively refused it." I have no clue what this means let alone how to fix it. Gotta admit I'm not that savy when it come to this stuff. Can anyone help me out here? Again I'm not the most savy or swift at doing a lot of this computer stuff. Thanks in advance for any help that you can give me.
Firon
Do you have a software firewall? If so, you need to remove and recreate any firewall rules for utorrent.
tralala7777
I honestly have no clue. How would I go about finding that out, and then fixing it?
GTHK
Not your computer? If you can't figure it out, you can post an HJT log, one of the programs it finds will probably be the firewall: http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/threat_analytics/HJTInstall.exeDoes the same happen on an openoffice torrent? http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/
