Trouble restoring torrents

I performed a clean install today, and after installing utorrent I copied the contents of "users/appdata/username/roaming/utorrent" from the windows.old folder to the appropriate empty folder of the new utorrent installation.

Nothing showed up. After restarting there are still no torrents. Any suggestions?

Run a search for settings.dat and see if the active copy is in a different place then where you copied your backup.

Restoring a copy may fail if the settings.dat is "bad" and the settings.dat.old is blank. I.e. uT loads blank instead of trying to recover the bad file.

I don't know the situation, but there ARE times when a bad file is not skipped and marked .BAD
