harleyrik Posted December 31, 2005 Report Posted December 31, 2005 Hi All,Whenever I open more than 2 downloading torrents, my system reboots. I am running a 1.4 gig celeron, soyo board, 1 gig memory, linksys network card, and a 60gig 5400 rpm hd (slow). The antec power supply is recent. I have port forwarding on. I am using win 2k os, with za pro firewall set to medium.Any Clues...?Thanks,Rick
Firon Posted December 31, 2005 Report Posted December 31, 2005 Uninstall Zone Alarm and see what happens.
winMX_67 Posted December 31, 2005 Report Posted December 31, 2005 What version of ZA, when I have toew torrents with ZA im fine.
Firon Posted December 31, 2005 Report Posted December 31, 2005 It's just to rule out ZA being a problem on his system, and see if it's a driver/hardware issue or some other software. :/
harleyrik Posted January 1, 2006 Author Report Posted January 1, 2006 It is za pro 2.6.362 I have not noticed this reboot problem since I put on the port forwarding. Could this have been my problem? I was trying to download some very large files at the same time (over 5 gig a piece). I haven't tried to crash it either tho' I have been limiting my downloads to two or three at a time. I will attempt to crash this thing in the morning. Then I will turn off ZA and try again. 'till then ... Happy New Year!!!Thanks,Rick
harleyrik Posted January 2, 2006 Author Report Posted January 2, 2006 Yeah, it's old. Turning on the port forwarding seems to have cured the problem.....Thanks,Rick
