unhappy_utorrent_user
Good day, I'd like to ask what is wrong with my torrrent lately. It has been giving me 2 BSOD's every 5 minutes to 2 hours after turning it on.It started a couple of weeks ago and then disappeared last week only to resurface after 3 days. The BSOD messages I get are the following:0x0000000500x0000000C2Can anyone help me out here. I've used other torrent clients and it still shows up. Direct download doesn't give me BSOD's.I'll post any additional information if you need it. How do I post the explorer process list?
GTHK
get Process Explorer from sysinternals.com, run it, Ctrl+D (to show the lower DLL pane), select the µTorrent process from the list, Ctrl+S (and save the list somewhere you'll find easily -- like the Desktop), then post the contents of the saved process list in the .txt file hereLooking at your logs though, I see you have Zone Alarm, which has been known to cause serious issues for many users. Try uninstalling it.
Firon
Uninstall Zone Alarm. Also, when writing down BSODs, you have to write down everything it displays. The error code alone is useless.

jewelisheaven
Did you update any of your software ... also please try uninstalling ZA. When it does go bad it goes bad HARD. :/
unhappy_utorrent_user
Well I removed ZA and I'll see if any BSOD's appear again. BTW I need a new firewall since I can't say windows firewall is a safe choice. Any advice on a good firewall?
hermanm
When your BSOD happens, there's actually a file name that caused the error. You should post that file name as well.
GTHK
Comodo Firewall is powerful, and there are instructions on this forum for setting it up with µTorrent. Wait until your sure the problem is fixed though before adding another factor.

You should post that file name as well.BSOD screens don't always give file names....no BSOD's...If you feel certain one would have occurred by now, I suppost you can install Comodo Firewall Pro. unhappy_utorrent_user
Here's an update. Currently no BSOD's no matter what programs I use. I'll see if comodo firewall will blue screen me in the near future.
GTHK
It probably wont, I just wanted to be sure some other program didn't screw up right after installing it.
