Chill
Please could someone help me out with this frustrating problem. I have forwarded my ports to my wireless router after I have used a static ip address and I still keep getting the orange/red triangle on Utorrent. It says that it looks like my ports are not open after I run a test. I can download no problem with speeds up to 450kbps and I upload is up to 30kbps.But a lot of the time I'm not uploading at all. I know its not my firewall because I have turned it off. I am running a wireless router Open iconnect625W. My choice of port is 55555 and I'm running Windows XP. Please any suggestions would be extremely grateful. Thanks Carl
Switeck
Your modem or antivirus software might be acting as a firewall.1st link in my signature has got troubleshooting processes for that. The 2nd link in my signature is for conservative settings for uTorrent that may work better than Speed Guide's suggestions. Wireless connections for instance often CAN'T handle 100+ peers/seeds connected to you at once.
Firon
You also can't disable your firewall on Windows. You must configure it properly OR uninstall it altogether.
