animalman
I've been curious about this for awhile. Whenever I open up uTorrent from the task bar to the desktop I see at first how much I am uploading and downloading. But the longer I keep it opened up on the desktop whatching the seeders they slowly go away and then shows I'm not seeding anything. The seeders go away and also the KB uploading go down. Any reason for this. Did I explain that a little? Pat
Switeck
You're on ComCast, right? They definitely disconnect peers from you while you're trying to seed. You never upload to seeders. There is however a tiny amount of overhead traffic to maintain connections on both the download and upload side even if the peers/seeds you're connected to are receiving/sending none of the torrent files. Switeck
There is a small glimmer of hope...uTorrent v1.8 is slightly better at avoiding the BitTorrent detection methods than most other BitTorrent clients....And figure out how to do Level 5 on this page:http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Avoid_traffic_shaping
