dario
Hey guys, i have been trying to download torrents recently, and have been unable to do so..Initially i was able to download torrents wif many seeds/leechers and even a few.the speed was also decent.however, since a month ago, i have not been successful in trying to download any torrents. The seeds remain at 0(0) and peers always hang at 0(1).I have a problem about a month ago, when i downloaded a software of the internet and it was apprarently corrupted. The next day the torrents refuses to download and my internet connection was also distrupted...thus someone claim that it could have been a virus, that affected my registry,winsock/netfsh, i have already downloaded winsockxp fix, and so far my internet connection is fine, but i am stil not able to download torrent files..I have run anti virus system to detect any trojans etc, so far, no results have came up. As such i am wondering what could have been the problem? Need help/advice..I have not done any configurations for my utorrent or router, in fact i was able to download torrent from another desktop using the same port forwarding procedures as i did for my cpu. However for my cpu, torrent indicate that the port is not forward, while for the other desktop it is perfectly fine...weird isnt it, as the configurations for the router are exactly the same, except for the listening port **067 and **068 respectivelyso please any kind souls out here, pls help me with some troubleshooting..thanks a bunch!! Firon
http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/Does this torrent work for you? If it doesn't, it's possible Symantec is the one blocking µTorrent. You may need to remove and recreate any exceptions for utorrent for it to work. You should download LSPFix and remove nwprovau.dll. Do NOT use HijackThis to do it and do not delete the file manually. dario
Hii Firon,I have downloaded LSPfix and remove nwprovau.dll usng the program. In the rar file, LSP fixsource, there are these files,LSPfix - RES fileLSPfixbpr - BPR FileUnit1dfm - DFM fileWhere exactly do i extract these files to?any specific folder?or just make a new folder and placed it in "program files"?ps: i have done all as instructed, allow programs under "symantec", torrents are still not downloading.. Firon
The source zip is irrelevant. All you need is lspfix.exe.Well, there's one more thing to try... uninstall the Symantec software.Failing that, it is entirely possible that your ISP has blocked torrents altogether.
