If I use the IP my ISP gives me and then I use a local IP, when behind a router, there is a chance that utorrent does not update net.bind_ip and starts throwing listen errors? I've been fighting with the bad listen port/red exclamation mark error for at least six months now, and resetting net.bind_ip fixed it instantly. I tend to migrate my settings for uTorrent over with Windows reinstalls and I guess I had manually set the field months ago, and I've changed the static IP of this computer now which made it invalid.
