DreadWingKnight Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 Did you bypass the windows disk cache in the cache settings?
Rizzler Posted July 12, 2008 Author Report Posted July 12, 2008 A friend said i should to that but he didint know what i should set it to, what do you recommend ? :/
DreadWingKnight Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 In the disk cache settings, disable windows caching of both reads and writes. Why?Because windows' disk caching system is stupid half of the time.
Rizzler Posted July 12, 2008 Author Report Posted July 12, 2008 thanks a lot! lag and ram eating is now gone!
Firon Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 Also, 100mbit has a theoretical max of 12.5MB/s (and in practice, is about 11 or less).
