Nasho23
I am new to both Utorrent and this Forum and am not yet the full bottle on how Torrents work, so please go easy on me.I was not successful in finding an answer to my problem.QQQQ = I have a number of Torrents that have stopped downloading at, say, from 90.0 to 99.5% and after some days will not restart again. Is there any proven method of getting these Torrents to restart and finalize.Pentium P4 3.00Ghz, 4.00Gb DDR, XP Pro SP2++, UTorrent 1.7.7.8179Otherwise, UTorrent works well for me.Thank YouNasho23
jewelisheaven
If their availability is not > 1.000 you cannot "finalize" them.
Nasho23
Thank you jewelisheaven. The main part of my question basically is "Is there a method to get the unfinished Torrent restarted again".
jewelisheaven
If you "lose" progress on any torrent in uT, the basic process is to Ctrl-D open the torrent, path to your CURRENT location for the torrent. and then start. If it doesn't start checking, be sure it's showing the correct path under Save As in the General tab. If so you can try stop, right click, force recheck. If it still doesn't increase the % you've corrupted the data. If it's possible you used !ut partial downloads extension, right click, open containing folder.. check the file extensions. You may need to use View->Folder Options to "show file extensions" or UN-"hide extensions for known filetypes"... to verify there isn't an additional extension there.
