CainKellye Posted October 19, 2005 Report Share Posted October 19, 2005 First: you can change the max. number of connections for torrents and for global in the Settings/Torrent options.Second: There is an option (enabled by default) to "connect to peers slower" on the advanced options tab. I heard that this is meant to limit the half-open connections. With this, there is no need to limit the normal connections. I haven't patched mine, and running uTorrent constantly along-side firefox, mIRC, Miranda and Kaspersky updating now and then gives me a total of zero 4226 events in my logs.
