SilkyKameron Posted July 17, 2008 Report Share Posted July 17, 2008 hi im running mcafee antivirus 2008 and see below that there was someone offering solutions incase the speed was a bit slow. anyway i usually download onto xp at about 260kbps (not fast but i live far away from the exchange) this can be a normal program from a website like file hippo or something like that, however on utorrent i can only download at about 112kbps and that is only in the morning for about an hour or something like that. then the rest of the day its between 4 - 19kbpsplease helpyours sincerelySilkyKameron Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Given your 3Mbit download I'd recommend xx/256 Kbit/sec linespeed in Ctrl-G = THEORETICAL maximum of 64 KiBps in uT.http://utorrent.com/setup_guide.php If you're shaped during most of the day, check the testing torrents as well for 1 minute every hour that you want to collect throughput data.
