If a downloaded file has a virus included, can it be deleted prior to running it, if in the positive, is there a available guide i can read.Many thanks in advance for any help. jewelisheaven Posted July 18, 2008 Report Share Posted July 18, 2008 Your installed AV should detect the virus. uT has an option in torrent properties... right click, properties Advanced button, run when completed. You need to know what the scan options are for your AV.... or rely on it scanning when it is finished. Simply downloading a virus is no harm.. make sure you scan all files the you download with ur intalled AV as jewelishheaven said.
