Hi ALL,

I am using utorrent 1.7.7 on windows vista. I followed exactly instructions from http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Linksys/WRT54G/Utorrent.htm, but I can't seem to get it open. I did a static ip of 150 which is outside the dhcp range and I checked and re-checked. But it just keep giving the error message"

"Error! Port 45682 does not appear to be open.

Please see www.portforward.com for more information about how to map a port."

I have done a port forward successfully before but I just can't get it to work this time. Please help...

Many thanks

Hi Firon,

I am not sure how to tell the difference in IPs but when I use website like http://www.ip-adress.com/ to check my ip address, it shows an IP (220.255....) different from my static ip address(192.168...).

Below is the Hijackthis logfile, thank you very much for the help

Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2

That won't do you any good. You're behind two routers right now. You need to make one of them act as a switch (or bridge). Check your router's config for the same.

If all else fails, you may have to go buy a switch and replace your router with it.
