bouncerxy Posted July 22, 2008 Report Share Posted July 22, 2008 I downloaded a video 100% using utorrent, but when I played it, it was corrupt in a few places as if the whole thing wasn't completed. I rehashed the torrent by deleting it and getting it again and sure enough after checking my whole previously downloaded movie, utorrent found a few MBs left for download. However utorrent didn't update the movie file but instead wrote it to another file called ~uTorrentPartFile_11B0F446D.Do I have to re-download the whole MKV movie file or is there some way I can still fix it? Firon Posted July 22, 2008 Report Share Posted July 22, 2008 If you skipped some files, then it's going to download any pieces your movie shared with other files.If it says its 100% after its done downloading, then the movie was corrupted before the torrent was made (i.e. the source is bad), so there's nothing you can do.
