Major Issues With Utorrent

hey everyone, i'm having a few trouble with utorrent. I can download and install the software but i can't literally use it because after i double click it to open it appears a small box that allows me to check for different shorcuts but it doesn't actually show any shortcuts on the desktops or menu or anywhere. But at first, utorrent main window appears and on the taskbar (after i installed the software), but if i restart my pc it won't appear anywhere. But i know is open because i see it in the windows task manager process. Also, when i first install it, utorrent's main window doesn't want to close, it will keep appearing. Can anyone please help me?

You should make sure you're downloading uTorrent.exe from http://utorrent.com/download.php AND you can also try running it as "path\to\utorrent.exe" /NOINSTALL

Thanks dude..i used eTrust PestPatrol Anti-Spyware to get rid of the mal/adware and now it works..
