Sharing torrents between user profiles

How to share torrents between user profiles under Windows XP?

I mean if there are 2 user accounts under WinXP and one of them started a torrent, the other should have the same torrent when opening the program.

isnt it easier to have shared folder and put files there what you want to other profile?

I did that. I have a shared folder D:\Downloads. But I'm interested in sharing torrents, not only files.

ah didnt get what you meaned right away. you could have files what you download on D:\Downloads so other profile has access to those too. i dont know how to do that .torrent part if it doesnt have those loaded automatically on both profiles µt.

mayby have those µt .dat files in same folder as µt is, so it loads from there not from your profile appdata, and have µt in shared folder also.

Same instructions apply, but I guess you should copy the entire folder's contents instead of just settings.dat

Oh, ok guys, thx for help. utorrent settings was stored in C:\Documents and Settings\User1\Application Data\utorrent and, respectively, in C:\Documents and Settings\User2\Application Data\utorrent

Both users had own settings.

I moved settings files in C:\Program Files\utorrent and now both users have the same settings.
