I'm using version 1.7.7 and fyi, files to download +/- 5000 files and I change priority of +/- 3500 files to don't download/skip but utorrent keep downloading the skip files.Is it bug? Switeck Posted August 2, 2008 Report Share Posted August 2, 2008 Torrent pieces are often as big as 4 MegaBYTES in size...which can overlap with the end of 1 file you want with another file you don't want...but you have to download the whole piece to know if the data is correct. Just the way it works. BitTorrent doesn't see files, just a series of pieces till the end of the torrent. And it assembles them randomly till it's done.
