youmakemesick1 Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 I tried searching for this and couldn't find anything. How do I set utorrent so that it automatically sets the upload limit for each torrent I load to whatever I want it to be. I have a 60K up global max and I always have at most 3 torrents loaded so I want to spread the bandwidth out evenly to 20K to each torrent. How do I set this? Thanks.
Switeck Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 Double-click on one of the torrents and set it to 20 KiloBYTES/second upload speed. You'll have to do it individually for each torrent. It is BEST if you leave one torrent with no max upload speed!OTHERWISE, you could have 1 torrent at 1 KB/sec, 1 at 20 KB/sec, and the 3rd at 20 KB/sec...and only be uploading at 41 KB/sec total.
youmakemesick1 Posted August 4, 2008 Author Report Posted August 4, 2008 yes, I know I can do it manually. I want it so that utorrent does it automatically. I realize that the torrents may not reach the set limit but I want to set it up this way anyways.
DreadWingKnight Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 If you let uTorrent manage your upload rate by setting the global rate, it will automatically allocate bandwidth to match the demand.
Firon Posted August 5, 2008 Report Posted August 5, 2008 Set a global cap. There's your automatic management.
