BZFlagLEGOManiac
I'm not sure if I should count this as a bug or a request. To me, it's a bug.I've got a 55GB torrent that takes over an hour to be checked. When the PC starts and uTorrent starts, this file will be checked. Unfortunately, the torrent name begins with a number so it's the first one to get checked. When I realize this 20 minutes later, I stop all the torrents and start them manually in order of smallest to largest so that some torrents are actually running while the big one gets checked. What I consider a bug is that when I get back to checking the big torrent, it starts from 0.0% again. The 20 minutes it spent checking the file earlier has been lost. Is it not keeping a record of what it has checked? It probably should be.
thelittlefire
Don't stop the checking, pause it. Not a bug. Search better PLEASE.
BZFlagLEGOManiac
Well, that was interesting. Thanks for the tip.I've tried pausing before, yet, when I do, it appears to keep checking. However, based on your tip I paused a check and watched it for a longer period of time.I started the pause at 1.6% checked and waited. It advanced to 1.7, 1.8, 1.9 even though the icon indicated that the torrent was paused. This is why I've always been under the impression that pause doesn't work on a check. I was about to write a note to that effect when it stopped at 2.0% and the next torrent started checking. If you hadn't pointed that out to me, I would gone on assuming the pause simply didn't work since it isn't nearly immediate. Thanks again.
