Westbrook
I've got two seeds, only one active. My upload speed is 25KB/sBut my download speed is < 1 KB/sI've tried everything. I could download this file faster with the windows downloader.
Firon
Uh... if you're seeding, then you already finished downloading it.
Westbrook
No, I'm not finished downloading it. It's only at 93%. It was doing fine, but then the DL speed just plummetted. Upload speed is consistently around 35 KB/s.I really don't know WHAT I am seeding. Why should I be uploading when I haven't completed downloading? macer8
I've had the same thing going on -- although my DL speed has not dropped. I've been DLing a 5G torrent for about 30 hours -- and the status bar tells me that I've DLed 3.1G and ULed 4.3G. I've asked why I seem to be seeding -- when the torrent is NOT fully downloaded -- but the admins in the other forums have refused to comment. Perhaps Firon can enlighten us! Firon
That's not seeding if it's not 100% finished, just plain old uploading. Torrents can upload everything you download before the torrent is fully completed (and in fact is a required part of the protocol). If availability is less than 1, you can't finish.
