Re-adding torrents

I recently upgraded my OS, thus had to reinstall uTorrent.

Only problem here is that my already downloaded torrents are being downloaded again, which ruins my ratio.

Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

So say I skipped a few of those steps..

Like, to get all the torrents from a certain tracker I batch renamed all of the ext's of torrents containing a certain string, moved them to a different folder, and renamed them back to .torrent.

And then I just selected all of those torrents and dragged them to uTorrent.

uTorrent was also configured to save torrents in a specific directory, just not move them after completed.

It worked for about 500 torrents, but the rest are downloading..

Probably need to make sure the filenames match those in the .torrent. And that the folder name ut is pointed to is really correct.

There's no reason why it shouldn't be.

The files were never touched during the OS install, they were all complete so they don't have the .ut ext

I just find it odd that 500 of the 600 torrents work fine..
