Please Help. uTorrent not downloading.

I just installed my internet today, and downloaded uTorrent 1.7.7.

It's not downloading anything. I don't know what's wrong.

I have no firewall or anything running.

I'm using Windows XP Professional.

My ISP is AT&T.

The modem I'm using is Motorola 2210-02-1006. (Netopia 2210)

Does the problem persist with OpenOffice torrents?

Yes it does thanks. I am unable to download even the openoffice from your link. The download symbol just turns red, and it doesn't download.

Thanks for the link. I followed setup instructions.

I tested with slackware torrent, and it still doesn't work.

The next section is about Resolving NAT problems. I did not see any red exclamation symbol at the bottom of my uTorrent.

Then there is a section about Using UPnP. I did the "Enable UPnP port mapping" in uTorrent, but could not find anything in my modem setup screen.

I managed to get my static IP address set up in windows. I followed all the instructions for port forwarding for my modem and utorrent. I ran the test, and it says the port still doesn't seem to be open.
