Arinor Posted January 3, 2006 Report Share Posted January 3, 2006 I've noticed a strange thing recently using 1.3.1 beta build 389.When a torrent starts there're more local connections than remote (via the forwarded port) but after some time remote connections begin to dominate and finally local connections dissapear completely.This doesn't seem to affect dl and ul speeds, but this doesn't seem right either. When you first join the tracker, you scrape and ask the tracker for lists of peers, then connect to all the ones that are willing to connect to you.After a while, other clients scrape the tracker, and are made aware of you, and connect to you.
