Krash
What settings should I configure in uTorrent to get somewhat close to my 6M download speed? I have been searching for forums for a while now and I seem to get CLOSE to my answer but cant seem to find the exact settings I need. Speed tests show that I should get somewhere like 6000Kb/s down (750ish kB/s) with 384ish up. I have been playing with the setting for hours now....best I can get for a d/l is 170ish kB/s down 35ish up. What am I missing?
Firon
Pick xx/384k from the Speed Guide, forward ports properly, make sure your firewall isn't blocking µTorrent.
Krash
I did that, no ports are blocked and they are forwarded, but I still on get speeds of 150is kBsMy settings:Preference\Connection:Max upload rate 35Preference\BitTorrent:Global Max: 230Max number of connected peers per torrent: 80Max of upload slots per torrent:
Firon
http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/See if you can max out on here.Although truth be told, 150kbyte/s isn't bad for a torrent.
Switeck
You're downloading >3 times faster than you're uploading.Someone's getting stiffed, and it's probably not you.
