utorrent window hangs up

Hi there, this happens with the last version, 1.7.7 and still in the new 1.8.

When i am downloading some torrentz, from 1 to 10 (from example) it happens that when trying to open the main window, it may freeze for some time, 10-20 seconds, and then it can hangs when closing and reopening. Also happens when trying to access some features in the program, or checking how the torrentz are.

From example: when the window is open, if i try to open the preferences, it may not respond with the first click, and hang up, after some seconds, i can try again and maybe it will open or not the preferences window (Depends if it's runinng ok or hanged up).

i found that, when i pause all the torrents, everything works fast, i can enter in any option or see any information, but when i resume all the torrents, everything comes back to lag or hang up..
