No incoming connections

I've been using uTorrent for a long time and it always worked fine. After installing Windows XP Service Pack 3 my uTorrent port got blocked. I am not using a proxy, I have tried different ports, I have bypassed my router, I have uninstalled my firewall, I have tried uTorrent 1.7.7 and uTorrent 1.8, but I still don't have incoming connections.

Any help will be appreciated.

a) get HijackThis from trendsecure.com, run it, view the log, and post the contents here

get Process Explorer from sysinternals.com, run it, Ctrl+D (to show the lower DLL pane), select the µTorrent process from the list, Ctrl+S (and save the list somewhere you'll find easily -- like the Desktop), then post the contents of the saved process list in the .txt file here

I have always used Birthday, it reminds me about birthdays.

I had uninstalled McAfee, but it didn't work so I installed it back, I will unistall Defender.

Hi, unsure if this will be helpful or not. I was thinking of downloading service pack 3 myself but decided against it as it says it installs a contains all the past updates. My problem with this goes back to an old update that I had problems with until I uninstalled it (along with others), that update being the KB941644 one, and I still haven't installed that one. I obviously don't know if you had a problem with that "critical" update, but if you did, it may be that by installing service pack 3, that this update was installed as part of it.

The DNS update is very critical. The only problem is that some very crappy firewalls have trouble with it, and it's more important to have the fix than a firewall that doesn't actually do anything for security.

luislema, connect your computer directly to the modem. Tell me what IP your computer gets from it (make sure to set the PC back to auto-getting an IP)

I also tried the port checker on my other computer which is connected to my router and it gave me the green light saying that the port was forwarded correctly. My other computer only has SP2.

Well, I uninstalled SP3, and I have incoming connections now.
