1.8 Single file magnet URI downloads broken in build 11730 and upwards

Steps to reproduce:

1) Start utorrent.11730.exe or 1.8 stable in default configuration

2) Add Torrent from URL -> magnet:?xt=urn:btih:ec0f733ae83fe2a893b0c09993b639d8cb591df4&tr=http://xabin.mine.nu:3335/announce

Expected result - utorrent would start downloading something with an empty file/job name and eventually fail with "Error: The system cannot find the path specified."

Log:

[2008-08-10 xx:25:27] Error opening "C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\Downloads\":

The same test would not fail with Release Candidate 7 (build 11705).

this bug seems to be related (i.e. singlefiles broken while fixing this one) and I cannot confirm it was fixed - 1.8 stable still dumps files from mutifile magnet downloads to the root of the default download folder.

Not working for me. Subdirectory is created when downloading torrent file as usual but not when downloading via magnet link.

Similar problem with single file torrents - downloaded file is named incorrectly.
