Zak_2k6
There may have been several threads connected to this one but neither of them helped me with this situation. I went on to http://www.speedtest.net/ and took a speed test. My download was 3967 kb/s and my upload was 362 kb/s. So I go to uTorrent > Options > Speed Guide > Connection Type > xx/256k. My downloads are quite high reaching 400kB/s but here's where the problem lies with my upload speed. I'm not an egoistic person so once I've completed downloading a file, I'd like to seed it so that other people can share the same file but the problem is my upload speed is really low 23.0 kB/s (avg 30.5 kB/s). Is everything normal or am I doing something wrong? The only reason I select 'xx/256k' is so that my Internet runs fine because when I choose other options it tends to affect my Internets stability...I'm sure my upload speed isn't reaching its peak. I have a Linksys WRT45GL router and I've forwarded the port. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Switeck
I have an alternate upload setting for 320 kilobits/second upload bandwidth max in the 2nd link in my signature.
Zak_2k6
Okay thanks. I set the same settings you've wrote down for 320 kbits/second...I just wanted to know the download and upload speeds I should be getting. Currently, I'm getting like 300+kB/s download and 29kB/s upload. Is this correct?
