daar01
HiJust had a bit of a crash and utorrent (1.7.7) is now rightly checking a download which had reached 85+% complete. After checking is complete the % complete has reduced to 3%, and the individual files are mostly at 0% even though those files are several mb in size on disk and appear to be intact when checked. Can anyone explain why this is? DreadWingKnight
Several media players and media indexers silently re-tag files. My guess is one of those got their hands on your files and re-tagged them, causing them to effectively be corrupt as far as the torrent is concerned. daar01
I think it was Nero Scout. Found NMIndexingservice.exe in the running processes. No idea how this got turned on as I disabled it long ago. I have been having a few file access errors today, too so this may have been the cause. I shall monitor. Thanks for the pointer.
