hendrix
As long as we are polling hehe.. why not this one? Might be easier for DEVs to decide on which feature to add first..btw i voted YES.. Why? Cause its easier to see which files are complete or not this way.. chaosblade
I voted YES, even though i would probably not use it. It doesnt add anything to the program, and some people will find it helpful as hendrix said.
Teloriun
...this the same as the bc extension in BitComet? If so, voted no..found it pointless...but if it gets imp'd, make it optional
wrinkols
If you implement it I'd say make it optional. That whole extension thing makes it hard to switch between clients if the need arises.
akhkharu
I voted NO... I think it's pointless... I am saving my incomplete torrents in one directory... and I set option to move my complite torrents to another directory... so, what sens make rename the incomplete files since they are in two difrent directories?... Ofcorse it is only my opinion

slayers
In general, I don't like too many optional stuff. It clutters the settings and it takes longer to learn and figure out what each setting does.Specifically, I don't like this feature. Changing the extension would change the icon Windows associates with the file until it completes the download. I like to see the types of files being downloaded and those icons provide a quick way to visualize it. This is particularly important with multi-file torrents. sputnik
definately not. i already know the incomplete file, because the complete ones are moved to a different directory.new extension would just make things worse(eg i preview incomplete mp3 and movies easily now)
easyx
I dont like it with an extension. If you add this option, please make it optional.
akaidiot
Optional or not, this is a feature that is crucial when I choose torrent client. You get such a better overview over (exactly)what and how much is downloaded without having to dig into the files tab in the program. And for everyone that think it's pointless it doesn't matter, right? For me this has become neccessary.
BlackLion
Its more a choice of flavors in this case IMO, for some the answer is having a seperate folder for incomplete vs. completed downloads and I do that and it works for me ok. But also being a Comet user that option is not abailable with that client AFAIK so to keep track I used the bc! extension option. That worked for me as well. I thnk that as long as you can readily tell what is finished and what is not you are ok. As long as it is optional it is ok, I dont think it should be imposed on anyone that dosent want/need it. I vcted yes because im sure that there are some that prefer it, personally I can go either way.
drpiety
vote no, you have a done directory thats how you can distinguish.
boo
voted nowhy? because you already have one folder for complete downloads and one folder for not completed downloads.
psych
i prefer to have all my torrents downlaod to the final destintion, and simply have them designated as incomplete via a file extention. this makes it much much easier to search via any search application, and is a better usage of space.,since you don't need ot hve double the amount free. however i understand others like the idea of a done directory, so make it optional

1c3d0g
If µTorrent already locks the file when in use, I don't see the point of adding an extension. If µTorrent doesn't lock the file, then I can certainly see the usefulness of this feature...
saboteur
with multi-file torrents I got not a done folder for all files, but folder for certain torrent. For example - series of some video with more than 50 series in torrent - it is not comfortable to move series to download folder. For all series I want to create its own folder, where all files will store. And uncomplete files will be with custom extention. So I can easy browsing complete file and look them.I voted YES.I think, that this feature must be implemented as optional for each torrents individually, not only as global option. hendrix
i realy regret making this post.. the folder setup we have now is muuuch better.. although i miss a "seeding" folder.. ah well.. life goes on!
SledgeDG
I voted no for already above mentioned reasonsHow can it be better to browse through files in one directory to check the file extensionsrather than knowing that one directory holds everything that's finished and another one holds everything that's incomplete@hendrix: there is nothing to regret, reallyAt the time you thought of it as a good feature to add...that you've changed your mind later on doesn't really matter-DG
splintax
No way. This makes it as others mentioned harder to switch torrent clients. The existing methods (folders and files tab) are more than adequate.
JigPu
I'll put in a 'Yes but Optional'.Having a dedicated "Finished Downloads" directory is nice, but like saboteur I enjoy using more subdirectories. Having finished linux ISOs, individual Bleach (and other series') episodes, and random RAR files all in one directory makes it hard to find stuff. Being able to put everything in specific places makes it a lot easier (ISOs to an ISO folder, anime series to their own folders, etc). If the current moving-on-completion feature could be made to do this (perhaps by adding labels to torrents, and then moving torrents based on label) I would love it, but seeing how it does not, renaming of incomplete files would work just fine. There are various problems (and a total lack of need for some people) with renaming incomplete files though, so if the feature is included I would request that it be disabled by default.JigPu
Firon
An option to "Use labels as directory for Move Completed Downloads to:" has been suggested already, and I think ludde liked the idea ;p
Pho3NiX
How about timestamp ?incomplete file can have timestamp like in very old past or near futurethis way a sort by Modified can trim the incomplete file and at he same time we keep filename.
