hkssupra69
Hey guys, weird problem. Im trying to access my torrents from home using my computer at work. I'm on a mac cuz that's what they gave me at work if it matters. Anyway the problem is after I input my address instead of coming up with a login prompt I keep getting a file open dialog for Firefox, Safari, and Opera. I thought maybe its an OS X issue so I tried loading up windows in Parallels but I'm getting the same problem. I tried searching through the forums but I havent been able to find another person with the same issue. The file type the browsers have been trying to open are octet/stream(FF pc), untyped binary data(FF os x), plain text(opera), and some kind of data file on safari. any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Ultima
Are you using an alternative listening port? What version of µTorrent are you using?
hkssupra69
i am using 1.8 now and alternative listening port isnt checked. i can get it to work at other locations just not on this mac. i was wondering if its not handling the java properly or if its because Im at work and it has something to do with the network here. Firon
Have you tried removing your old WebUI and letting 1.8 redownload the latest one?
