shokan
Since upgrade from v1.77 to v1.8 today, the ETA of a torrent downloading at the time of the upgrade has been showing wild values from nothing to 5 years and switching high and low every second. Is this because of the upgrade occurring while this torrent was in progress? Six hours after the upgrade there is still a problem.Thanks.
thelittlefire
ETA is based upon current download speed on a sliding scale.. and uploading speed til reaaching seeding goal in Queueing settings.
shokan
Whatever it is, it's now saying the download will finish in 5 years, but at the present dl rate it clearly will only take a few more hours. So, it's messed up. Guess I'll just have to live with it. I've had no problems like this over the past half year with 1.77. Just 1.8, as of this morning. thelittlefire
Really?... uhm could you take a picture of the Peers tab hide the IP column if you can, show the Relevance column, ... I can't think of other useful information. Also could you verify your 1.8 version? Alt-H-A will show it.
Ultima
Is your download rate changing erratically...? O_oExit µTorrent, backup your settings.dat file from Start > Run > %appdata%\uTorrent, then delete settings.dat and settings.dat.old, reconfigure µTorrent... Does the behavior remain? shokan
After a few Exits and Opens the ETA seems to be accurate now. Thanks.
