kadaverul
Hello guys. I've just upgraded to utorrent 1.8 a few days ago, and it's been a nightmare ever since. I get the "Disk overloaded 100%" error even when I'm downloading a single torrent at 100 KB/s or less. With previous versions, that happened at 6-7 MB/s , so my system ran smoothly almost all the time. Now everything stops, and very often I have to unplug the computer in order to restart it.If anybody has a clue as to what's going on, let me know! Switeck
Yet another IBM (I Blame Microsoft) problem. Good thing uTorrent's advanced cache settings are flexible enough to overcome it. uTorrent's default cache size is 32 MB of ram, so if you are regularly going over 5 MB/sec, you might want to bump that cache size up a little.1000 MB is the max cache size I've heard that works, but that's complete overkill...unless you're wanting to seed a torrent completely from ram.
