abx
Just moved apartments, and I'm now receiving a "not connectable' error in utorrent. I haven't made software changes, and this worked at the old apartment.I am not using a router. I am connected from the wall to a gigabit switch to my computer. Upload speed from a test is 650kbps.I'm assuming this is my provider throttling me somehow, as I do not have a direct IP, but am instead on a local subnet, 10.0.xx.xx. Is there anything I can do, assuming I'm right and they are the issue?
Firon
If you do not have a real IP, you're basically behind their LAN. Unless they forward a port for you, you can't do anything about it.,
abx
I 'forced' encryption and now I'm sort of getting connections. I seem to get a certain percentage of available peers, not more. 41 peers, I get 12...can't seem to to connect to anymore. Anything else I can try? Firon
Set it back to enabled and see if you can connect to more and still be able to download.
