Cannot access file being used by another process

Why when I'm downloading something it stops and says Error:The process cannot the file because it is being used by another process.

This only seems to happen when im downloading mp3 files other sort of files seem fine.

Hope someone can help

Are you using any http://utorrent.com/faq.php#Incompatible_software ?? Generally things like iTunes and Windows Media Player can cause this, but sometimes it's things like Nero Scout (nero indexer) and Roxio EZ CD Creator's RoxMediaDB service (roxio indexer).... if you create a HiJackThis logfile and paste it here someone can look at it for you.

I have Itunes and media player. But their not running at present (well at least not that I know of!)

That'll work, if you want it though, try to install it without the hard drive watcher, or try disabling the hard drive watcher.

I've unistalled roxio and its still doing the same thing

Re-run HijackThis!

Roxio may still be running in the background and not be fully uninstalled.
