Red Torrent Arrows with V1.8 - Tracker tab errors

jfenz41

Recommended Posts

Ever since upgrading to V1.8 my torrent arrows are red. There is also no status symbol (red or green circle, or yellow triangle) at the bottom of the window and the tracker is reporting: no connectivity.

Tracker tab info:

[DHT] Not Allowed

[Local Peer Discovery] Not Allowed

[Peer Exchange] Not Allowed

Error: "An operation was attempted on something that is not a socket"

Any thoughts?

User account is admin. I've been using uTorrent for about 2 yrs now with no problems. It all started with the upgrade to v1.8

I installed the IPv6 not knowing what it was (still don't), but I was having the problem before it was installed. If I uninstall the Symantec and that fixes it, what do I do? Is it that v1.8 is not compatible with it? Would I need another type of A/V software?

Perhaps it is Symantec. It might not like the IPv6.

If v1.7.7 worked fine w/ my Symantec, why wouldn't 1.8?

hey man....i m using norton 360...there is no problem with symantec and IPv6. there was same problem with me ..but now it is ok........try as i asked may b it wud b helpful..

note....uncheck the all option in conection

proxy server type = none. still having the problem. I'm pretty sure it was always set to none.

I'm very frustrated right now. I've been trying to fix this since this morning...

OK, I've removed Symantec A/V, and uTorrent and turned off the windows firewall. I reinstalled uTorrent and I still have the same problem. Can someone please help me with this. There hasn't been any response to this thread for hours!
