Also have you checked a HiJackThis output for http://utorrent.com/faq.php#Incompatible_software or would you post it here so someone else can look at it? thelittlefire Posted August 17, 2008 Report Share Posted August 17, 2008 For some people (with large resume.dat files or with some incompatible software) the default close time is not enough to let uTorrent close successfully. This means that you will not get a "good" state for a restart to go immediately. Graceful shutdown waits (indefinitely in 1.8) for this to happen. You should check out the Manual @ http://utorrent.com/download.php to get more information on almost anything you can imagine in the uT GUI.
