brada74
I had a large que of finished torrents and I hilighted them all, then accidently went Delete .torrent + Data. I have now lost over 1000 songs that took quite some time to download. The files are not in the recycle bin. Is there anywhere else they could be or have I lost them for good? Firon
If they aren't in the recycle bin, you're SOL. You could try some undeleter app but that doesn't really work amazingly well on NTFS, particularly if you've been using the drive.
thelittlefire
STOP using that hard drive. Don't defragment it. Use recovery software.
Ultima
Hah, same thing happened to me recently. I didn't touch the drive after I deleted the files, immediately pulled up my resident undeleter (Recuva), scanned for files... and it found ony 3 of ~75 files. Luckily, I didn't care that much about the files.Basically, recovery is very unreliable, period.
