AzraelUK
Whenever quitting uTorrent, it still leaves behind a running uTorrent.exe, which refuses to be killed by the Process Manager. I read somewhere that other people were having this problem, and that changing graceful shutdown to true might help out, but it didn't.I'm on XP Pro SP2, with, uh, the latest version of uTorrent. Never had this problem before the switch to the damned square logo!
Switeck
Zone Alarm is usually the cause of that...and probably should be removed completely.Process Explorer can probably kill uTorrent when it gets stuck like that.
Nettoyeur
Got the same problem as AzraelUK.Porcess Explorer can't kill the process.I've always used Zone alarm and no problems with earlier versions of uTorrent.
DreadWingKnight
Well, it's time to get rid of it.
Switeck
Windows firewall can protect your computer if you don't have a router...or even if you do.And it doesn't cause conflicts with uTorrent.
Firon
The problem isn't anything new, and it is a Zone Alarm bug (which we've yet to figure out how to workaround). Ditch ZA and get a firewall that's actually stable (vsmon likes to crash PCs), such as Comodo.
