ezlyconfuzed
I'm on a base wide network out here in afghanistan so i have no way to port forward any ports on the router or switch. Is there any normally open ports that anyone can name that i can use to upload and download? Thanks
Switeck
With routers, it's almost always all or nothing. Otherwise, you have to forward ports yourself...which as you said you can't do. Maybe UPnP can help?
ezlyconfuzed
Well i'v found a few ports that were open, but i could only download and not upload. The one im currently using is 23. I have no idea how i found that one but its going way slower than it should be. Im not too familiar with the term UPnP either.
Switeck
UPnP = Universal Plug and Play. USB devices are the best examples of hardware fully supporting UPnP. GOOGLE the terms for more information.
Firon
No, you can't actually open ports. And those open ports aren't open for your machine.

GTHK
When you say "open" ports, are you asking for unthrottled ports? Does your ISP interfere?Big difference between open ports and unthrottled ports
