uTorrent 1.8 d/l slows to a trickle

version 1.8 has not been good to me so far. In addition to torrents stopping claiming "Not enough space on the disk" (which is being discussed in another thread), I've had it just stop downloading.

I don't really know how to help troubleshoot this one, but I'm fairly sure it's uTorrent's problem. Two times it's happened, where it'll show that there are (connected) peers on the torrents, but no data is flowing (on ANY of them).

Two times this has happened, and both times when I finally EXITed uTorrent and restarted it, it very quickly jumps up to my set bandwidth limit.

I could not find a thread discussing a similar problem. Has anyone else experienced this with v 1.8?
