UT! extension question

The UT! extension is removed from the file name after completing, like it should be. But the filetype still says it is an UT! file instead of avi. Where have I gone wrong?

Is it a setting in utorrent or did I mess up somewhere else? Any help is much appreciated.

When opening the containing folder the filename is: filename.avi the filetype says UT!-file.

The filestab in utorrent shows the files as avi-files.

I've moved the files to another folder after downloading. This is when I found the "strange" extension. Now I see the correct files are still in the download folder. The UT! files are in the folder I moved the files to. These will play as avi but only after I tell windows what application to use. Could be I just did something wrong.
