Firon
it's based off the interval between have messages. it's nothing more than an estimate.
ShAQ
it's based off the interval between have messages. it's nothing more than an estimate. What is exactly transmitted? I think "have pieces xxx". And then it calculated the time between the connections and the differences in "have pieces"?
splintax
I believe Azureus has a similar feature (not 100% sure), you might want to have a look at the source for that.I know it does have a "total swarm speed" feature, and I guess that's calculated from the sum of all peer download speed estimates. Firon
yeah, it's based off the rate of have messages you get from the peer (excluding any from data you sent them, called have message supression)
